With the above in mind we have a very exciting opportunity for a Country Manager to join our established business to shape the future of Principle GmbH.  You will be working with the COO of Europe to target new clients and focus on sales growth.  This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of something new, to help shape the future.

Purpose of the Role: 

Build the German sales, establish and cultivate relationships with new target clients with a focus on sales.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Work alongside the COO to share the creation of an agreed business plan for GmbH.

Implement the sales strategy for various accounts, including identifying new business.

Attend client meetings, create and maintain excellent client relationships, setting and exceeding expectations.

Manage the business including sales, margin control, cash generation and overhead control.

Manage the establishment of new teams based on new project wins in coordination with local managers.

Work with other managers in the group to develop and implement a business strategy to achieve objectives for growth in revenue and profitability.

Work with other Principle teams to ensure an all-encompassing approach in addressing both opportunities and issues in a proactive manner, ensuring on-going customer communication and follow-up.

Expand relationships with existing clients.

Establish and cultivate relationships with new target clients with a focus on sales conversion and customer retention.

Push the business to the highest standards of operational delivery, communication and customer service.

Comply with and endorse group reporting requirements, such as monthly sales and margin forecasting.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

Fluent English & German as business and domestic languages.

Ability to develop and maintain new client relationships.

Knowledge of client services based offer, including programme management and KPI establishment.

Previous experience in “shop fit” or “brand implementation” - must be able to demonstrate experience planning and installing high volume, multi-site projects.

Previous experience of managing a business/leading a team.

Strong customer focus. Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of customer needs and customer satisfaction.

Must possess a strong understanding of the relationship between account activities and key financial measurables.

Confident and competent communicator with varying management levels.

A high degree of personal motivation, happy to challenge and chase success.

Ability to remain organised, focused and multi task in an ever changing, fast paced environment.

Strong IT skills including database work and MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
